Privacy Policy
Micro Warz · Effective 5 June 2026
Micro Warz is a free mobile game. There's no sign-up — you never give us an email, a password, or your real name. This page explains the small amount of data the game does use: a global leaderboard, ads, and in-app purchases.
1. The anonymous player ID
The first time you open Micro Warz, the app generates a random ID on your device and a default display name (like Player #A1B2C3). This ID isn't linked to your name, email, phone number, or any account — it just lets your scores stick to the same player. You can change your display name at any time.
2. The leaderboard (data we store)
To power the global leaderboard, Micro Warz stores the following in our database (hosted by Supabase):
- Your random player ID
- Your display name
- Your device platform (iOS, Android, etc.)
- Your highest level reached and number of games played
- When you were last active
That's the complete list. We do not collect your email, real name, contacts, location, photos, or messages.
3. Ads
Micro Warz shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information and an advertising identifier. This is handled by Google under its own policies — see the Google Ads & Privacy page. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device's settings.
4. In-app purchases
Any purchases (such as removing ads) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCatmanaging what you've unlocked. We never see or store your card details — the stores handle payment.
5. How your data is used
Strictly to run the game: to display the leaderboard and your stats, to show ads, to process purchases, and to understand—in aggregate—how the game is doing. We don't build advertising profiles about you from the leaderboard data.
6. Data sharing
We don't sell your data. It's shared only with the service providers that make the game work: Supabase (database hosting), Google AdMob (ads), and RevenueCat together with Apple/Google (purchases).
7. Keeping and deleting your data
- On your device: uninstalling Micro Warz removes the local data (your player ID, name, and settings).
- On the leaderboard:to delete your leaderboard record, email me with your display name or in-app player ID and I'll remove it.
8. Children's privacy
Micro Warz is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If the game's data practices change, this page and the effective date above will be updated.
